MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT GENERAL LABOR EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is seeking a reliable Inspector/ General Laborer to fill an open position for a cylinder manufacturing company in Garden Grove, CA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 4 AM- 2:30 PM. Mandatory Overtime if scheduled. Must be available on Saturdays.

Requirements for the Inspector:

Must have a minimum of 6 months of recent general labor experience

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Pass a Background, Drug Screen, E-Verify, and a pre-employment Physical.

Must speak English or be Bilingual

Responsibilities of the Inspector:

Test cylinders (e.g., pressure tests) to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

Verify dimensions, material grade, and identify any visible defects such as rust, dents, or damage during transit.

Conduct regular inspections of cylinder components and assemblies at various stages of production (cutting, forming, machining). Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts adhere to specified tolerances and engineering drawings.

Identify and report any potential safety hazards.

Effectively communicate inspection findings and quality concerns to production supervisors, engineers, and quality assurance personnel.

Observe and/or perform hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure tests on finished cylinders to verify their structural integrity and leak-proof performance under specified pressures.

Accurately document test procedures and results.
