SUMMARY: We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and oversee the implementation of new manufacturing processes primarily for connectors and cable assemblies, ensuring high levels of quality and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with design engineering on new products and special manufacturing process requirements
Review Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) for compliance and implement new procedures/processes as needed
Identify areas for process improvement and evaluate existing processes
Work with Quality Engineering to analyze problem root causes and implement solutions
Develop and modify manufacturing systems to ensure accurate data for planning and accounting
Interface with customers and organizational bodies during visits and audits
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2-3 years of related experience; Strong technical and problem-solving skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular sitting, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise level
