SAP PPDS : SAP Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) Specialist

About the job you’re considering:

This role is specifically the Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) Specialist reporting to the PPDS Lead. You will be responsible for implementation and deployment of the Forecast to Schedule (FTS)/ISCP Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) capabilities of the Enterprise First Global template (built through SAP S4 and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) SaaS Cloud concepts).

Objectives are to ensure the deployment of the global template supporting the execution of business processes related to Forecast to Schedule (FTS)/ISCP Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) to PFNA. This role will adopt and adhere to PEP SAFe agile principles for the PFNA deployment project.

Your role

Responsible for Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Processes:

Demand Planning (DP) and Demand Sensing (DS)

Inventory Optimization (IO)

Network Optimization (Net Opt.)

Supply Planning Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) / Master Production Schedule (MPS)

Replenishment Planning (RP)

Supplier Collaboration (partner with PTP)

Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)

Partner with the Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Global Process Owner/Leads and Solution Owner/Leads to implement and deploy the Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) solution

Support design, build for Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) functionality of the Global Template during deployment -

Collaborate with the Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Global Process Leads and Global SMEs to implement and deploy the Global Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) Snacks Template

Actively engage and educate business process owners on solution optimization, simplification and standardization capabilities

Collaborate with all value stream teams to implement and deploy the end-to-end Global IBP / Global ERP solution

Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore scrum team members to ensure a prioritized and sufficient product backlog for the teams to work against

Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies -

Along with scrum team identify, monitor and implement key agreed-upon improvements -

Adopt development practices which focus on quality and value, while increasing efficiency, and minimizing waste

Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged

Help to implement Agile engineering best practices such as continuous integration, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer review within value streams

Your skills and experience

Very good exposure in SAP PPDS

Experience in Supply Network Planning (SNP)

Strong knowledge in Sap APO

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

10-13 years professional SAP experience

9+ years of experience in Solution implementation of FTS/ISCP Sap APO and/or IBP+S4

9+ years Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) - SAP APO PP/DS with SAP APO SNP Optimization

4+ years of SAP IBP and S4 experience preferred.

Strong experience in end to end Forecast to Schedule/ISCP design, development, and implementation, including integration across other functional areas, i.e. order to cash, make to deploy and procure to pay.

Deep, broad functional and solution knowledge of SAP solution in Forecast to Schedule/ISCP Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)

Knowledge of all master data objects required to support all Forecast to Schedule/ISCP processes

Knowledge and experience nice to have: SAP SolMan, Azure, ALM, ARIS
