Drivers must be able to

>Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

>Effectively Communicate location arrival and departure times between dispatchers and customers.

>Manuver a Semi-trailer across state lines safely

>Follow all rules of the road according to DOT guidelines

>Secure cargo to prevent damages

>Interact with shippers and receivers in a professional manner

>Perform and record pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
