Job Title: Onsite Supervisor – Warehouse Operations (Chemicals & Packaging) Job Summary: The Onsite Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations in a facility that handles chemicals and packaging materials.

This role ensures that all procedures comply with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality standards.

The supervisor manages a team of warehouse associates, coordinates logistics, and ensures efficient, accurate handling, storage, and shipment of materials.

Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Team Leadership: Lead and manage warehouse staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training on safety protocols and proper handling procedures.

Chemical Handling & Compliance: Ensure all chemicals are stored, labeled, and transported according to OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.

Maintain up-to-date SDS (Safety Data Sheets) documentation and train employees on safe chemical handling.

Packaging Operations: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of packaging materials.

Coordinate staging and distribution for production or outbound shipments.

Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of chemicals and packaging supplies.

Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records and prevent shortages or overstocking.

Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce site safety protocols including PPE usage, spill containment procedures, and emergency response readiness.

Conduct routine safety inspections and address any compliance issues.

Logistics Coordination: Schedule inbound and outbound shipments, liaise with vendors and transport providers, and ensure timely deliveries.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of warehouse activities, incidents, and regulatory compliance.

Generate daily or weekly performance reports for management review.

Qualifications: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and relevant safety regulations (OSHA, HAZMAT, DOT) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Forklift certification and familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Bilingual a plus
