CNC Saw Operator

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is currently seeking a CNC Saw Operator role for a long-term role with a company located in South East Portland, OR.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating a CNC saw to cut raw materials used in production.

The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, a basic understanding of steel metallurgy, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Pay: $23-$25/hr CNC Saw Operator Responsibilities: Operate CNC saws to cut raw materials according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints to determine job requirements Select and identify appropriate steel materials for each job using knowledge of steel grades and metallurgy Inspect cut materials for accuracy and quality Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment as needed Adhere to all safety protocols and shop procedures Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly CNC Saw Operator Qualifications: Previous experience operating CNC saws or similar machinery in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints Basic knowledge of steel metallurgy and material selection Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and follow instructions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Benefits: Competitive hourly pay ($23–$25/hr depending on experience) Medical 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities within the company
