Firmware Engineer (W2)

Title : Firmware Engineer Location : Mossville, IL Duration : 12 Months Job Description This role involves bare metal C programming and working on firmware for electronics.

The Firmware Engineer will troubleshoot their own code, utilize an oscilloscope, and work in a lab environment around forklifts.

This position requires developing code in C, identifying root cause issues, and being able to read data sheets and edit links or files.

While the initial months will require onsite work, there is potential for remote work 1-2 days a week depending on workload and project requirements.

Responsibilities Develop and troubleshoot code in C for firmware projects Utilize an oscilloscope to troubleshoot code Identify root cause issues with C code Read data sheets and edit links or files Work collaboratively in a team environment Occasionally work in a lab environment around forklifts Essential Skills 5+ years of recent experience with bare metal C programming Experience troubleshooting own code and using an oscilloscope Experience identifying root cause issues with C code Ability to read data sheets and edit links or files Additional Skills & Qualifications RTOS experience, with the ability to describe specific tasks done with an RTOS such as Free RTOS or Green Hills Experience with DevOps, board bring up, or Visual Studio Code is a plus Work Environment This role involves working on a small team and will mostly be onsite for the first 2-3 months.

After the initial period, remote work is possible for an average of 1-2 days a week depending on workload and project requirements.

The work will be conducted in a lab setting, and candidates should be comfortable working around forklifts
