Industrial Painter

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Industrial Painter for a long-term role with a manufacturer located in SE Portland.

The person in this position will operate sprayers to paint industrial equipment to specifications.

PAY: $25-$27/hr Industrial Painter Responsibilities: Operate and maintain spray equipment.

Preparation and application of various types of paint according to specifications Must be able to read and understand the use of mill thickness gauges or other types of testing devices to assure proper paint application.

Be responsible for the daily care of tools and equipment assigned.

Must keep work area clean and safe, maintain an acceptable standard of productivity and quality and abide by all safety rules and regulations.

Must adhere to the respirator program and be responsible for the daily care and cleaning of your respirator.

Able to remove previous paint surfaces using rinses.

Physically move parts up to 50lbs regularly.

Industrial Painter Qualifications: 3+ years of industrial painting experience Must be familiar with standard painting practices, surface preparation Ability to work with limited need for direction.

Ability to work day shift (MON-FRI, 7AM-3:30PM) Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (THC friendly). Industrial Painter Benefits: $25-$27/hr Medical Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays 401(k) with match
