Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens

Position: Locum Tenens - Physician -Family Medicine for level IV-ED

Location: OR

Start Date: As soon as credentialed (Flexible)

Length/Need: 6 months, possibility to extend

Shift Type: 24 Hour

Shift Description: 24 hour in house shifts

Weekend Requirements: As part of schedule

On Call Requirements: No Call

Details:

Single ED physician covers 24 hours shifts.

Average patient volume is 21 per 24 hour shift.

Vast majority of the patients are Level 3,4 or 5 (72%).

Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24/7.

Effective telestroke program well established.

Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers/physician consultation.

EMR: EPIC

Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months

Comfortable with Rural locationsRequirements:

Board Certified - Required (can accept FM)

Active OR license - Required or IMLC

Clean background, no malpractice - Required

Local candidates, no flights - highly preferred.

Permanent
