Responsibilities
Ensure workplace safety by communicating and enforcing Safety, Health, and Environmental guidelines.
Conduct safety assessments and address gaps in safety protocols.
Lead the production team, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
Collaborate with the Production Planner to develop realistic production schedules.
Oversee 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices, conducting audits and ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of machinery.
Implement and review operational standards, ensuring compliance within set timelines for optimal performance.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a relevant field, or proven experience in food manufacturing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food production or related fields.
UHT (Ultra High Temperature) or culinary operations experience is a plus.
Fluency in English and Sinhala.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and coaching.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adhere to production plans.
