Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to support the National Background Investigative Service (NBIS). The Test Engineer will assist in the development and implementation of business-critical software. The successful candidate will work closely with software development teams to ensure that applications meet quality standards and function seamlessly for users. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive test plans, detecting issues, and providing critical feedback to ensure that software systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides application development-programming for projects and infrastructure support activities
Implementing regression and integration testing efforts.
Leading Test Readiness Review (TRR) and other testing efforts.
Designs and develops enterprise applications in a Web environment
Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
Analyzes user needs and develop software solutions
Designs software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
May manage websites including design, develop, deploy and maintain activities as well as performs testing and quality assurance of web sites and web applications.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10 years minimum of relevant experience.
US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance.
The estimated salary range for the mid level is $135,000.00 - $155,000.00, commensurate on experience, technical expertise, certifications, and clearance level.
Primary work location is the Washington DC Metro area.
