An excellent opportunity to join a high-performing private credit fund in a newly created, part-time finance role. Working three days a week, you’ll support a small, senior team and take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management across a number of UK entities.
The fund has seen significant growth over the past year and is in the midst of a highly successful fundraising phase, with further expansion planned. This role has been created in response to increased activity and growing complexity across the group. The successful candidate will work closely with both the Finance Director and Financial Controller to support the finance function across multiple UK entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain financial records for several UK entities, including investment management companies and SPVs
Cash flow forecasting
Preparation of the annual budget
Produce monthly management accounts and tailored business analysis
Oversight of the payroll process
Manage capital call processes and ensure appropriate fund expense recoveries
Prepare annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors and tax advisers
Submit FCA regulatory returns and assist with broader group finance initiatives
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Prior experience in a fund environment (preferably private credit or similar), with a solid understanding of the interaction between fund and corporate finance. Broader financial services experience will also be considered
Strong technical accounting skills, particularly around management accounts, statutory reporting, and intercompany reconciliations
Seeking a part-time position (3 days per week)
Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy
Compensation is in the region of £70,000–85,000 (pro rata) plus an annual performance-based bonus and a wider benefits package.
