Position Overview:
Are you passionate about creating exceptional workplace experiences that foster productivity, collaboration, and culture? We're looking for an Operations Specialist
to support the day-to-day operations of our Reston office and be the driving force behind a vibrant, efficient, and people-focused work environment.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on making things run smoothly, loves building community, and wants to leave a positive mark on the employee journey. In this role, you'll oversee facilities, support on-site employee engagement, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our office runs like a well-oiled machine. From onboarding new hires to coordinating vendor services, you'll be central to shaping the in-office experience for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Operations team, you'll take on a variety of responsibilities that support the organization.
Facilities Management: Manage office facilities and requests, order supplies, maintain kitchen stock, and coordinate with vendors.
Team Events and Culture Initiatives: Plan workplace culture initiatives, events, and employee engagement efforts. Spearhead Ofinno's philanthropy program and facilitate volunteer events. Organize weekly Lunch & Learns.
Onboarding/Offboarding Employees: Set up equipment, supplies, and accounts for new employees. Assist HR and departing employees with offboarding tasks.
Executive Support: Provide scheduling support for CEO and CTO's calendars, including internal and external meetings. Manage meeting logistics and travel arrangements for CTO and CEO.
Operations Team Support: Partner with HR, Business Operations, IT, and the leadership team on special projects to enhance the overall employee experience. Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience
3+ years of operations, hospitality, or customer service experience
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills, comfortably engaging with all levels of the organization
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to building a positive workplace culture
Demonstrated ability to coordinate with vendors and manage facilities
