Position Purpose: to assure parts are conforming to customer requirements by using available equipment. complete all necessary documentation according to customer and internal requirements to maintain traceability of product acceptance and any non-conformances.

Role and Responsibilities

Performs routine inspection and testing of product in process and/or finished products using precision measuring tools and equipment.

Creates bubble drawings via Discus and updates inspection sheets as needed

Perform first article inspection for final product

Ability to implement sample inspections per requirements.

Determine acceptance or rejection after inspecting parts using tools, and instruments such as hand tools and CMM

Reports all non-conformances to team lead

Read and interpret customer instructions, blueprints, drawings, etc., read and interpret charts and other statistical information.

participate in work center and other problem-solving teams as requested.

Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following all Company safety policies and procedures

Utilize appropriate tools such as gauges, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment to check part integrity.
