We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team in Plymouth, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our growth and expanding our market presence. We are a Michigan based company with a national reach that has been in business for more than 100 years. We are looking to capitalize on our current presence while expanding our brand in the marketplace. Responsibilities
Target new business opportunities while building and maintaining existing relationships
Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services
Establish pricing levels and agreements for customers
Establish close working relationship with production, planning and logistics to support customer base
Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives
Maintain a clear communication line on sales commitments to operations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify trends and potential areas for expansion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored solutions for clients.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
Track and analyze sales metrics to measure success and inform strategy.
Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company and build connections.
Travel as necessary
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
