As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the voice and heart of our operations, handling customer communications, coordinating plant scale operations, and helping keep things running smoothly across our Joliet, Thornton, and Bourbonnais asphalt plants.

This is a fast-paced, people-first role where flexibility, attention to detail, and a positive attitude go a long way. You’ll work closely with our internal teams and external customers to ensure seamless construction activity and service delivery. What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as the front line for internal and external customers

Support daily construction command center operations

Manage asphalt order processing and trucking logistics

Perform on-site and remote scale duties across plant locations

Coordinate scheduling, enter data, approve timecards, and complete daily reports

Act as the link between customers and the retail sales team

Assist with process improvements and operational support

Communicate regularly with Construction Foremen, Project Managers, Superintendents, Plant Foremen, and Equipment Manager Schedule Notes

Daily start time between 5:00 AM – 7:30 AM

May require evening, night, and weekend hours during peak season

Guaranteed 40 weeks of seasonal work (typically March–December) What You Bring to the Table

Ability to build strong working relationships across departments

Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Quick adaptability and calm under pressure

High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence

Comfortable with conflict management and ethical decision-making
