Compressor & Turbine Services is looking for an experienced Office Administrator in the Houston area!
This role will be responsible for general office upkeep, managing the phones and onsite visitors, scheduling appointments for staff and assisting the accounting team with basic duties when needed.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls, relay messages
Unlock / Lock doors in lobby
Provide information to callers and screen for unwanted calls
Monitor visitor access and security awareness – Keep check in / out log updated and filed
Receive and sort mail, faxes, emails and deliveries – stuff / stamp outing mail, prep, pack and ship packages, as requested
Clean / maintain the reception area, water plants weekly and clean plants up as needed
Arrange for repairs and maintenance of building and office equipment
Create Spreadsheets, forms, reports, documents, etc.
Research & get quotes on various items for company as needed
Adjust time in T-Sheets for employees & make changes in QBs on time as needed
Maintain and update various company spreadsheets, including vendor logs, PTO and tardy forms
Assist with accounts payable and purchase orders as neededRequirements:
2+ years of experience as an Office Administrator required
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Must have familiarity with Excel and the ability to navigate spreadsheets (sort, filter, etc.)
Must be customer service oriented and a team player
Previous experience with accounts payable or purchase orders is a plus
