Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to support young learners in their formative years? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our Georgia Pre-K program!

About Us:

At Montessori Academy of Decatur, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment where young children can develop essential skills through play and structured learning. Our Georgia Pre-K program aims to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans.

Support individual and small group instruction to enhance students' learning experiences.

Foster a positive and safe classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.

Monitor and document students' progress and communicate observations to the lead teacher.

Perform daily classroom duties including setting up materials, organizing learning areas, and maintaining a clean environment.Qualifications:

Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education required.

Experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and support a diverse group of children.
