Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a LPN/LVN to support our client’s medical facility based in Albemarle, North Carolina. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

Provide short-term and long-term care for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery (e.g., stroke, amputation, neurological disorders, joint replacements).

Manage a patient load of approximately 18–20 patients during the day shift.

Perform clinical skills including:

Trach management (refresher provided during orientation)

Foley catheter care

Wound care and dressing changes

IV starts and management

Tube feeding administration

Complete documentation using EPIC EMR system.

Use Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems.

Float within the Continuing Care unit and to other regional facilities as needed (Cleveland Pines, Huntersville Oaks, Jesse Helms, Sardis Oaks, and Stanly Manor).

Participate in departmental admissions (1–2 per day, assisted by Admin Nurse).

Collaborate with nursing leadership, healthcare techs, therapists, and case management.

Qualifications:

Active LPN License

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)

Minimum 18 months of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, or Rehab setting.

Must live at least 50 miles outside the facility.

Must be willing to float to other designated regional facilities within scope of practice.

Pay Range: $39.00/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
