Responsible for testing electrical systems upon shop completion, ensuring operational accuracy and compliance.
Review and analyze system requirements, defining, deriving, and allocating hardware specifications for electrical components.
Perform thorough inspections of electrical operations during construction, fabrication, and installation phases.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system errors, recommending and implementing suitable repairs or modifications.
Prepare technical submittals for approval, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.
Interpret and apply local and federal engineering statutes and regulations, including UL and NEC standards.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to project managers and engineering teams when necessary.
Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve technical concerns.
Ensure adherence to proper safety protocols and incident reporting procedures, escalating issues as required.
Maintain a professional demeanor with a motivated and positive attitude.
Provide support in project management tasks, including documentation, workflow optimization, and coordination of resources.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Extensive knowledge of motor control systems, including starters, MCPs, drives, and motor control centers.
Expertise in power distribution ( 600V AC 3-phase, 120V AC, 24V DC), including transformers and power supplies.
Strong understanding of logic diagrams, PLC I/O module drawings, relay logic, and general cross-referencing.
Familiarity with software languages and integration processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite for documentation and reporting.
Ability to travel overnight, with 30-40% travel required.
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $93000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
