We're looking for a motivated Solar Sales Manager (SSM) to join our Advanced Sales Team and help expand our solar offerings.

Position Overview:

The Solar Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue by working with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to identify and develop new client relationships, create financial models, and guide customers through the solar proposal process. You'll be the primary point of contact for educating clients about government incentives, developing solar solutions, and securing new business opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and technical solar knowledge to expand our solar footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and follow up on leads to create proposals, quotes, and close sales deals.

Educate clients on solar incentives and financial benefits, presenting comprehensive financial models.

Work closely with estimating teams to ensure accuracy in proposals, budgets, and client data.

Lead customer presentations, clearly explaining solar solutions, and demonstrating Advanced Roofing's value proposition.

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction to foster repeat business.

Maintain CRM documentation and ensure timely follow-ups on all proposals.

Identify business opportunities at industry events, trade shows, and through networking.

Provide regular status reports to internal stakeholders regarding sales progress and goals.

Maintain expert knowledge of solar services and products, as well as relevant government incentive programs. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in solar or a related technical field.

Strong B2B outbound sales experience.

Ability to develop and present financial models that justify solar investments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining client relationships.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid and insurable driver's license. Success Factors & Metrics:

Achieve a 30% win rate on proposals.

Generate 10 new client opportunities per month and close at least 2 projects.

Maintain CRM records and follow up on proposals at key intervals (3, 7, 30 days).

Meet quarterly sales targets of $400k in service and scope work.

Attend at least 4 product training sessions annually to stay current with industry trends. Working Environment:

Must be able to travel within assigned territory and attend meetings as required.

Ability to work in a professional, dog-friendly environment.
