A CoreMedia Admin is responsible for managing and maintaining the CoreMedia CMS system. They are responsible for ensuring that the system is running smoothly and efficiently, and that all content is up-to-date and accurate. Admin also work closely with other systems and applications.

Technical Skills:

Experience with Coremedia CMS: The candidate should have experience working with Coremedia CMS and should be familiar with its features and functionalities.

Knowledge of Java and J2EE: The candidate should have a strong understanding of Java and J2EE technologies.

Experience with web technologies: The candidate should have experience working with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience with databases: The candidate should have experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Experience with Linux/Unix: The candidate should have experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems. Key Responsibilities:

Platform Configuration:

Configure and customize the CoreMedia platform based on business requirements.

Implement and maintain content types, templates, workflows, and other platform components.

System Administration:

Perform routine system administration tasks, including user management, access control, and system monitoring.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the CoreMedia platform.

Integration and Deployment:

Collaborate with development teams to integrate CoreMedia with other systems and applications.

Manage deployment processes and ensure smooth releases of updates and patches.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor and optimize the performance of the CoreMedia platform.

Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure scalability.

Security:

Implement and enforce security measures to protect the CoreMedia platform and its data.

Stay updated on security best practices and apply necessary updates and patches.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Provide training and support to end-users as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

CoreMedia certification or relevant certifications in content management systems.

Experience with other web development technologies and frameworks.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
