Position Overview
The Program Assistant will work with the Teaching and Learning Office to provide implementation, financial, record keeping, clerical, and administrative support for the programs. The work encompasses a range of office activities, including producing program materials, preparing, and communicating program information, working with other LCPS offices to coordinate program support, and maintaining and monitoring program accounts and expenses.
Roles and Responsibilities

Creates and maintains all department financial records needed in accordance with the policies, regulations, rules, and procedures set forth by the state, Loudoun County Public Schools, and the Superintendent.
Processes purchase requisitions/orders accurately and efficiently, while utilizing the LCPS Oracle ERP financial system.
Maintains payroll records for employees.
Orders equipment and supplies for the programs and maintains school inventories.
Assists with program record keeping, including maintaining records in Phoenix SIS.
Assists with data collection and reporting for program evaluation.
Produces program documents using Google and Microsoft tools.
Participates in event planning and competition coordination. Qualifications

Education
Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Experience
Licenses and Certifications
None Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with Oracle ERP
Experience with Google products and tools, and Microsoft Office products including Excel
Knowledge and proficiency in Phoenix SIS
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to perform the required work quickly, and accurately and to work cooperatively with others
Bilingual Spanish, preferred
