Job Overview:
Fleet Mechanic II - Lenexa, KS About the Role
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans and forklifts.
Disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems.
Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
Will act as a mentor to the class I mechanics.
Shift and Schedule
Monday through Friday
10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
About You
Total Rewards:
$29.64 per hour

Requirements:
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience on a fleet
Must be able to work on all types of vehicles
Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job
Willing and able to acquire the necessary certifications and licenses needed for the position within the first year of employment to include: ASE Heavy and Medium duty certification, DOT Commercial Drivers License (CDL A), DOT brake and annual inspection certification, and A/C certification
