Main Purpose of the Job

As an Account Manager for Biosynth, your responsibilities would include managing relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

You would also be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' strategies.

Additionally, you may be required to collaborate with other departments within the company, such as marketing, R&D, production, QC, to meet customer needs and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Identifying new business opportunities and potential customers in the chemicals sector.

Understanding and promoting the features and benefits of the company's chemical products.

Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with customers.

Collaborating with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies and campaigns.

Providing customer support and resolving any issues or complaints. Candidate Requirements

Minimum education of Bachelor's degree in chemistry or similar

Experience in Sales /Account Management role mandatory (within a similar industry - pharma/chemical manufacturing/life sciences)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships.

Proven sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Knowledge of the chemicals industry and understanding of product specifications.

Analytical skills for market research and identifying trends.

Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.

Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficient in tools such as SAP would be desirable.

Remote job offering - The position will cover the US market, but travel availability is desired across the US (conferences, customer visits). Travel also to offices in Gardner/ Louisville might be required. Sporadic traveling to Europe as well.
