Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner position at HealthDrive involves managing the medical needs of skilled nursing residents, diagnosing and treating health conditions, promoting good health practices, and collaborating with the medical staff.

Responsibilities include providing primary, post-acute, and preventative care, ordering diagnostic tests, diagnosing illnesses, proposing treatments, prescribing medications, maintaining records, and overseeing patient health.

The ideal candidate should have experience in gerontology, acute care, cardiology, internal medicine, or endocrinology, effective communication skills with the geriatric population, and nursing experience in ICU/ER/SNF.

Qualifications include a Master's Degree, state NP license, board certification, DEA/Controlled Substance License, valid driver's license, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
