Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Angular Full Stack Developer to join our team on-site in McLean. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role after three months. The ideal candidate will have a strong in Java8, Springboot, Angular, and MongoDB, along with experience in cloud solutions and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain web applications using Angular, Java8, and Springboot.

+ Design and implement solutions in the cloud environment, specifically AWS.

+ Collaborate with business lines and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions.

+ Perform unit testing and ensure code quality using Cucumber.

+ Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

+ Proficiency in Java8, Springboot, Angular, and MongoDB.

+ Experience with unit testing and Cucumber.

+ Strong communication skills for interfacing with business and IT teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with AWS cloud solutions.

+ Familiarity with node.js, Python, and transactional SQL queries.

+ Knowledge of Cypress testing and automated pipeline deployment.

+ Experience with modern tools such as the Atlassian Suite, EKS, Docker, and Openshift.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in McLean. The position requires availability to rotate after hours occasionally. Dress code is business casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of McLean, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.
