As a BIM Modeler, you'll actively play a key leadership role in project modeling and documentation. In the role you will be responsible for supervising modeling efforts, managing project drawings, and providing leadership.
Key Responsibilities for the BIM Modeler:
Work with the Family Development Team to implement revised standards.
Create and manage project-specific Revit families.
Supervise modeling and documentation processes.
Assign and schedule work to meet project deadlines.
Prepare and maintain Revit models, incorporating backgrounds from other trades.
Coordinate with project teams, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
Review and verify work before submission.
Protect company proprietary and intellectual property.
Qualifications & Experience for the BIM Modeler:
Associate degree in Computerized Drafting or related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience with electrical drafting conventions and standards.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience considered.
Skills & Abilities:
Advanced proficiency in Revit, including family creation, schedules, and complex geometry.
Strong understanding of BIM processes and project workflows.
Fluency in 2D and 3D design, Autodesk Navisworks, and Autodesk Design Review.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
