**Job Title: Security Installation Technician**
**Job Description**
This position involves programming and installing security systems on large construction, new construction, and remodeling projects. Qualified candidates will have formal training in security and low voltage installation, reliable transportation, and the ability to follow directions, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
**Responsibilities**
+ Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
+ Perform installation on integrated security and alarm systems.
+ Respond to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
+ Communicate with central dispatch on current work order status and receive updates on outstanding customer issues.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.
+ Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer and contract specifications.
+ Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation on time.
+ Must be willing to travel to jobsites throughout the US.
**Essential Skills**
+ Technical domain knowledge sufficient to perform responsibilities.
+ Baseline certifications for solution offerings.
+ 5 years of experience in the field or equivalent.
+ Milestone or Axis trained or certified.
+ Familiar with Axis or Hanwha cameras.
+ Experience with security systems, VMS software, and low voltage knowledge.
+ Ability to adapt to change in scope of work, work hours, project size, and travel.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Capable of performing physical labor including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
+ Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
+ Ability to lead and work well with team members.
+ Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
+ Other software experience that is helpful: Bluebeam and CAD.

**Work Environment**
Solid work environment with a good culture and team. Training will be about 6 months long before technicians are entirely on their own. The role involves working in various conditions such as ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, and requires adherence to safety guidelines.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $71000.00/yr.
