**Job Description**

The Quality Control Lead is integral to supporting the QC Inspection processes for incoming GMP materials and shipping operations. This role involves overseeing the inspection of incoming materials and distribution activities. Additionally, the position may include assisting with document control activities and product lot disposition.

**Responsibilities**

+ Select products for tests at incoming receiving.

+ Test and inspect products at incoming receiving.

+ Execute shipping protocols, special sampling protocols, or shipping/receiving validations.

+ Perform receiving inspections of GMP materials.

+ Assist in product lot disposition by reviewing receiving documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with GMP and company procedures.

+ Perform QC line clearances.

+ Support distribution activities as needed.

+ Perform additional inspections and sampling on released materials.

+ Interpret specifications and formulas to meet required quality and reliability standards.

+ Record test data using statistical quality control procedures.

+ Enter inventory transactions in the ERP system.

+ Perform destruction activities related to incoming samples/retains.

+ Attend work as an essential function of this position.

+ Perform QC verifications for shipping and destruction activities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned, including internal, supplier, regulatory, and customer audits.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in inspection and quality assurance.

+ Ability to conduct visual quality inspections and checks.

+ Knowledge of GMP and QC processes.

+ Competence in operating a computer, including loading and closing programs and work orders.

+ Experience with ERP systems and inventory transactions.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with CAPA processes.

+ Understanding of production and QC verifications.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
