**Job Title: Sheet Metal Technician**

**Job Description**

This position involves installing ductwork and sheet metal on an industrial project. Contractors will work at Riverside Hospital in Central Columbus. The role demands expertise in RTUs, curb units, and various sizes of ductwork. Candidates must possess their own hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).

**Responsibilities**

+ Layout and install sheet metal and duct systems.

+ Read blueprints and interpret specifications to determine installation locations.

+ Assist with the assembly and installation of HVAC equipment including duct/sheet metal, rooftop units, curbs, louvers, and hangers.

+ Maintain equipment in good working order and ensure timely maintenance.

+ Follow OSHA and TPMC standards for safety.

+ Offload deliveries and load trucks at job sites.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in sheet metal and ductwork.

+ Understanding of blueprints and HVAC installation.

+ OSHA 10 certification or higher.

+ Aerial lift certification.

+ Fall protection certification.

+ Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, channel locks, vice grips, impact drills, and screwdrivers.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of experience with installing louvers, setting rooftop equipment, rigging, and ductwork/sheet metal.

+ Journeyman card is preferred.

+ Valid license and reliable vehicle.

**Work Environment**

The work takes place at Riverside Hospital in Central Columbus, with shifts running Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3pm, eventually transitioning to include Saturday shifts as well.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
