Litigation Paralegal

We are working with a well-regarded law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Insurance Defense Practice, with a particular focus on maritime cases. Experience with Defense Base Act (DBA) claims is highly valued, though the firm is open to training candidates with a solid litigation background and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide litigation support including case management, discovery, and trial prep

Handle e-filing in both state and federal courts

Manage legal documents using iManage or similar document management systems

Organize case files, exhibits, and case data with accuracy

Utilize Sea Portal (preferred, not required)

Perform data tracking and calculations using Excel

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience

Experience with maritime/admiralty law or DBA claims strongly preferred

Proficiency with Excel and legal technology platforms

Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
