Overview:
A manufacturing company is seeking a Die Cast Engineering Manager with hands-on experience in aluminum high-pressure die casting. This leadership role focuses on improving processes, supporting new product development, and guiding an engineering team toward quality and efficiency goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimize die casting operations and tooling.
Provide technical guidance for new product launches and process improvements.
Develop and maintain engineering standards for quality, safety, and performance.
Lead initiatives to improve productivity and reduce defects using structured problem-solving methods.
Apply lean manufacturing and process control principles to drive efficiency.
Support mold design and analysis efforts.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in aluminum die casting.
Degree in engineering or related field preferred.
Familiarity with mold flow analysis tools is a plus.
Understanding of product and process quality systems (e.g., APQP, FMEA, Control Plans).
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Work Environment:
Combination of office and production floor settings.
Regular team collaboration and interaction with cross-functional groups.
Must follow all safety procedures in manufacturing areas.
