Summary:

This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced, detail oriented digital merchandiser to join our eCommerce team. This person will be extremely organized and owns how our brand shows up online across all channels – Amazon, DTC, other.coms. We’re looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, eCommerce experience and a passion for all things digital marketing. The successful candidate will support eCommerce merchandising strategies for optimizing direct and indirect revenue, increasing new customer acquisition, day-to-day operations of large-scale accounts, and will work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Creative, and Sales teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Listing and Content Management:

Oversee product catalog management, including product uploads, updates, and ensuring accurate product information and images.

Own the briefing of Below the Fold content along with Digital and brand teams into Creative, own maintenance of assets and publishing to all retailers

Work with brand team to create compelling product descriptions, titles, and claims to improve search engine visibility.

Optimize product images, including adding alt text.

Quarterly audits of all product and brand content across all channels – Amazon, DTC, pure play.com and retailer.com

Submit briefs with Digital (DTC team) and Brand to creative to ensure product imagery meets needs of account and represents the brand.

Conduct keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords into product listings.

Manage and implement SEO optimization strategy.

Organize all assets ensuring proper naming conventions.

Merchandising Strategies:

Develop and execute merchandising plans to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Create merchandising strategies that support marketing campaigns.

Analyze sales data to identify trends and optimize product assortment and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.

Inventory Monitoring:

Monitor inventory levels and flag potential stockouts.

Review product availability and lead times with Marketing promotional calendar in mind.

A/B Testing:

Conduct A/B testing on product listings and promotional strategies to measure effectiveness.

Analyze test results and make data-driven recommendations.

Customer Experience:

Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with CX team to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.

Data Analysis:

Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization within path to purchase.

Track product performance metrics including sales, conversion rates and customer reviews.

Identify underperforming products and recommend corrective actions

Monitor customer reviews and Q&A on our website and other .com retailers to make recommendations on product offerings

Ensure all content exceeds IDQ metrics set out by team

Build and publish sales catalogs to our sales team to ensure content accuracy across all channels.

Work with New Product Development, PMO + Brands teams to build content strategy for innovation and deploy assets to all departments and accounts

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

2+ years' experience in eCommerce merchandising or a similar role

Bachelor's Degree in Ecommerce, Marketing or a related field

Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms – Shopify, Amazon Vendor Central and Walmart Supplier Center

Experience with content management systems (CMS)

Experience in tracking and reporting data along with proficiency in analytics tool (e.g., Google Analytics)

Detail-oriented – Demands accuracy of smallest technical details

Organized – Consistent commitment to accurate records and reporting

Process driven – can manage a project from concept to execution

Responsible – Will take accountability and sees problems as opportunities for growth and innovation and to be a creative problem solver.

Innovative – Ability to think outside the box and come up with new and creative ways to build our digital shelf and presence

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

Experience with DAM and Content Syndication Tools (Salsify, Bynder, etc.)

Knowledge of SEO best practices

Experience with digital marketing campaigns

Proficiency in visual merchandising

Compensation & Job requirements:

$72,320-94,920 is the salary range for this position. It represents a portion of the overall package, and includes flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications.
