Principal Electrical Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a full-time Hybrid Principal Electrical Engineer to work at one of our clients who specialize in construction & engineering.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be leading electrical engineering efforts within Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. The Principal Electrical Engineer is expected to function in a discipline leadership role overseeing the development of electrical engineering deliverables, engineering design criteria, specifications, proposals, scope document, engineering budget, and schedule on various sized projects and complexity.

Operating with minimal oversight, this role manages project execution, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and integrates electrical design solutions into overall project workflows. Responsibilities include technical leadership, design optimization, regulatory compliance, and team mentorship, with the ability to provide support to the Electrical Department Manager when required.
