We are currently hiring an experienced and knowledgeable Tax Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering strategic insights to support clients' financial success. The ideal candidate is well-versed in tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial analysis, and brings proven leadership capabilities to mentor staff and manage client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.
Review returns completed by team members, ensuring accuracy and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.
Manage tax planning and projections for business clients.
Analyze financial reports to uncover tax optimization strategies.
Oversee accounting functions such as general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounts payable.
Leverage accounting software, including QuickBooks, for efficient reporting and record-keeping.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, resolving issues and providing proactive financial and tax advice.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular and effective communication.
Mentor and train junior staff in tax compliance and accounting best practices.
Lead coordinated efforts for managing a portfolio of clients.
Occasionally assist in business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active CPA license required
Strong foundation in general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation
Proficient in interpreting financial statements and applying tax regulations
Skilled in financial performance analysis
Proficient with accounting software, especially QuickBooks
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
Korean language skills are a plus
