**Job Title:** Regulatory Analyst

**Work Place Flexibility:** Onsite

**Note: This is an onsite position based out of our offices in Little Rock, AR. The selected candidate will be placed as an Analyst II, III, or Senior depending on education, experience, and demonstrated success at the analyst level. There is no relocation assistance available for this posting.**

**Job Summary/Purpose**

Responsible for ensuring alignment between emerging regulatory requirements, corporate goals and objectives, and continuity with historic perspectives, policies, and rate schedules. Provides strategic and tactical input in support of filing preparations. Additionally, interprets proper application of service policies, rate applications, and service standards as filed when unique or ambiguous situations present themselves, supporting peers in Customer Service as well as Regulatory Affairs. Interfaces regularly with Commission staff members and performs essential duties in the development, review, and presentation of testimony in appropriate areas. Responsible for packing and delivery of filing materials.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities**

+ Detailed review, analysis and oversight of regulatory rate filing documents, work papers and supporting schedules.

+ Establishes and manages project schedules to ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings. Ability to respond to regulatory information requests by leveraging Operating Company and System resources.

+ Ability and knowledge to prepare understand and review tariffs, and tariff calculations, which collect fuel, purchase power, capacity, energy efficiency costs, environmental, securitization and other costs.

+ Document and assist in the interpretation of regulatory order filing requirements.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Minimum education required of the position**

+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, political science, math, accounting, finance, engineering, or another related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

**Minimum experience required of the position**

+ Analyst I: 0+ years of relevant experience

+ Analyst II: 2+ years of relevant experience

+ Analyst III: 4+ years of relevant experience

+ Senior Analyst: 6+ years of relevant experience

**Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position**

+ Demonstrated effective leadership skills with ability to work under stressful situations.

+ Desired skills:

+ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

+ Strong attention to details.

+ Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

+ Advanced PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office.

+ Ability to perform detailed analysis and convert this analysis into a meaningful summary for which to make recommendations.

+ Excellent organizational skills, ability to organize and prioritize work.

+ Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments.

+ Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities.

+ Willing and able to perform other duties as required and learn new processes and technologies.
