Engineering Manager

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 base plus Bonus

Onsite: North KC

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of experienced engineers and support plant-wide initiatives — with a strong emphasis on product launches, robotics, and collaboration with the maintenance team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative manufacturing environment and wants to make a tangible impact on production success.

What You'll Do

Drive new product launches from concept through production readiness

Collaborate closely with the maintenance department to ensure plant efficiency and uptime

Leverage knowledge of robotics and welding processes in technical decision-making

Review and approve engineering documentation, project timelines, and budgets

Identify process improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Report directly to the General Manager and work closely with senior leadership

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of engineering experience in a plant-based manufacturing environment

Proven success in leading product or program launches

Strong technical foundation in welding, robotics, and general manufacturing systems

Previous experience managing engineers or technical teams

Collaborative leadership style with a steady presence on the floor

Industry background in automotive or industrial manufacturing is preferred but not required
