Spherical is looking for a Performance Marketing Strategist to join our team. This role will have a strong focus on integrated performance services including paid media, SEO, and content strategy. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with digital marketing tactics, analytics, and optimization strategies across the hospitality sector. Direct experience working with hotels, hotel brands, or hospitality groups is essential, as you'll need to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within this industry. This person will be a core strategist for Spherical clients in the performance marketing realm, working closely with the account success team, collaborating with subject matter experts, and contributing to new business development.
Spherical’s U.S. office is in New York but we are open to this role being based elsewhere in the U.S. The New York salary for the position is $80,000 - $100,000.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies for retainer accounts
Partner with account success teams to ensure effective integrated marketing approaches and client-facing support
Support internal processes and initiatives such as quarterly business reviews, industry insights, and client growth strategies
Serve as a connector between department heads to support holistic practices and reduce siloed efforts
Identify optimization opportunities across client campaigns and initiatives
Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations
Stay relevant in the industry – explore new platforms, innovations and tools and provide proactive ideas to clients
Qualifications:
Experience in performance marketing for hotel and hospitality industry is required
3-5 years of paid media, SEO, and content strategy experience
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics
Proven track record of successful campaign optimization
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Natural curiosity and analytical mindset
Proficient with analytics platforms including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media analytics tools
Knowledge of various Google technologies including Webmaster Tools, Analytics, and Google My Business
