Project Scheduler – Oracle Primavera P6

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Project Scheduler with experience in Oracle Primavera P6 to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will support multiple projects within the electric utility, transmission line, substation, and/or telecommunications sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scheduling, project controls, and financial analysis. This position provides a great opportunity to work with experienced project managers and contribute to the successful delivery of projects at various phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 (20–200 activities)

Collaborate with 5-6 project managers to support projects across design and construction phases

Load and maintain resources within project schedules

Ensure quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables

Compare project schedules with financial data to ensure consistency and project timeline accuracy

Communicate technical progress of projects in electric utility, transmission line, substation, or telecommunications sectors

Integrate schedule and financial data into Excel using formulas, pivot tables, and macros

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business from an accredited program

Minimum 3 years related experience

Experience with Primavera P6 (2-5 years), Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
