Test Engineer

Desired Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering/technology

3+ years of experience working as a test engineer on electronic products

Experience using digital and analog testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)

Experience with MATLAB

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience programming test equipment in languages like (Python, C++, C, etc.)

Knowledge of Test Sensors (Transducers, photo-voltaic cells, etc)

Experience building RF test set-ups

Experience with LABVIEW

Experience using JIRA

Experience with Surface Mount Technology

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support their customer in the Sarasota, FL area. This person will be responsible for designing, building, and control testing test lab equipment and instruments. They will work cross-functionally with groups to determine and understand project needs and timeline with various engineering departments. They will also be responsible for leading the design reviews for test equipment.

Compensation:

$24/hr to $28/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
