Minimum Qualifications Education Prior Job Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Technology Information Systems CISMIS Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience training 4 to 5 or more years of Database Administration experience with any of the database management systems Microsoft SQL Server DB2 LUW Oracle PostgreSQL etc 4 to 5 or more years of experience working with large database large scale projects 4 to 5 years of experience with cloud based database technologies Azure SQL Azure SQL MI Azure SQL for PostgreSQL Knowledge of cloud computing concepts virtualization and infrastructure as a service IaaS platforms Proficiency in SQL Server and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies Is a self-starter with the ability to work with little management supervision Has the ability to multitask be flexible and deal with interruptions and change Can coordinate the triage identification and resolution of complex production and nonproduction issues Proficient in SQL language database principles and data modeling Must be willing to work varying shifts Day Night Slit or weekends Additional Skills or Prior Job Experience 1 to 3 years’ experience with NoSQL database systems MongoDB DynamoDB Azure Cosmos DB Neo4j Neptune etc Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps and PowerShell scripting Expertise in utilizing IaaS and PaaS services including database services and Kubernetes Understanding of IP subnetting Network Security Groups routing Azure Firewall load balancing DNS and other networking concepts and protocols Experience
