Project Engineer

GA Rogers + Associates is excited to partner with a leading local manufacturer, boasting over 70 years of industry expertise, to find a dynamic Project Engineer.

In this vital role, the Project Engineer will lead engineering programs, overseeing design, development, analysis, testing, reporting, and key business considerations from proposal through qualification testing. We seek a visionary individual who can inspire innovative ideas and shape the future of ongoing projects. As the primary technical liaison with customers, building strong relationships is essential.

Some travel will be required for meetings with customers and vendors, as well as equipment evaluations. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for thriving in a collaborative team environment, where you will engage daily with Design, Reliability, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams. Regular interactions with commercial and military clients and suppliers will also be part of your responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:

B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Technical skills include a working knowledge of hydraulic and electromechanical systems – aerospace/defense environment preferred or closely related role in defense or aerospace industries

Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, organizational, and project management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills

Must possess and demonstrate motivational and leadership qualities.

Business and technical astuteness

Successful candidates must meet all requirements under ITAR.

Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasker.
