Recruiter - 6 month contract

Job Title: Contract Recruiter (6 Months)

Location: Central Islip, NY

Office requirements: hybrid

Hours: 8:30 – 5:00

We are in expansion mode and need a recruiter extraordinaire to source, identify, interview and recruit top quality, manufacturing, operations and hourly workers as we build out our new pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment cycle for quality, manufacturing, operations and hourly roles including QC Chemists, QA Inspectors, Warehouse Operators, Machine Operators

Utilize advanced Boolean search techniques to source candidates

Leverage platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, job fairs, college hiring events, and alternative sourcing methods

Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make hiring recommendations

Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the applicant tracking system

Participate in hiring events

Requirements

Proven experience in high-volume recruitment, particularly for quality, manufacturing, operations and hourly roles

Expertise in advanced Boolean search techniques

Proficiency with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Ability to work hybrid
