Job Title: Estimator – Residential & Subdivision Site Development

Location: Palm Beach, FL -Open to relocatable candidates

Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 annually

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

LHH is partnering with a respected client seeking a highly skilled site development Estimator to join their team.This is a high-impact, high-reward opportunity focused on residential and subdivision site development, offering top-of-market compensation for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

Analyze project documents, including site plans, geotechnical reports, and civil drawings to develop accurate cost estimates.

Prepare detailed takeoffs and pricing for mass excavation, grading, cut/fill, utilities, stormwater systems, and civil infrastructure.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to gather required data and ensure cost coverage.

Use civil estimating tools to model site balances and generate bid proposals.

Develop bid schedules and participate in pre-bid meetings and client presentations when required.

Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering strategies, and potential project risks.

Maintain historical data, production rates, and market cost trends to support bid accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of earthwork/site development estimating experience within residential subdivisions or private land development.

Proficiency in earthwork-specific software (AGTEK, Trimble, HCSS, Bluebeam, etc.).

Background working with site contractors or on self-perform site development projects.
