We are currently partnered with a Nationally recognized trial law firm who is committed to protecting and defending the right of people injured through negligence, improper conduct, deceit, or abuse of power for the last 40 years in West Palm Beach. We are currently looking for a File & Records Coordinator who is bilingual Spanish preferable.
* File & Records Coordinator in West Palm Beach.
* File & Records Coordinator Reports to: Managing Attorney
File & Records Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
* Interface with clients, colleagues, and medical providers, both on the telephone and in-person.
* Prepare appropriate record requests.
* Prepare form turndown letters for attorney review.
* Prepare 10-day notice letters to medical providers.
* Establish and maintain paper and electronic files in compliance with current firm policies utilizing the Firm's document management system.
* Order medical records and follow-up with medical providers.
* Request liens.
* Organize medical records and bills.
* Produce and organize records for experts.
* Other general administrative duties and projects as assigned.
File & Records Coordinator Qualifications:
* One or more years in a law firm and/or with medical records preferred.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
* FileVine experience preferred.
* Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
