Position Summary
As a technical recruiter for Scientific Games, you will lead recruitment efforts to identify top technical talent aligned with our values. You will be responsible for building strategies to engage and build relationships with world class technical talent to provide both internal and external pipelines of talent. You will provide a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
Source qualified candidates for information technology roles to support Scientific Games business goals
Utilize a range of sourcing techniques to find passive candidates, including LinkedIn
Have a deep understanding of the information technology needs of Scientific Games and confidence to explain roles to candidates
Educate and engage candidates about Scientific Games mission and values
Work closely with hiring managers to understand feedback, iterate on role requirements, and evolve the sourcing strategy as needed
Coach, guide, and influence internal and external stakeholders during the recruitment process
Manage the recruiting process in our ATS (Workday)
Track and report on metrics
Employ a wide range of sourcing strategies, including industry networks, job boards, social media, staffing agencies and direct outreach to identify and attract highly qualified technical professionals
Conduct comprehensive interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, technical expertise, and fit with Scientific Games values
Negotiate job offers with selected candidates to achieve successful outcomes, balancing organizational and candidate needs
Provide onboarding support by ensuring timely completion of pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screening, and documentation for orientation deadlines
Proactively build and manage a robust talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing requirements
Meet regularly with business leaders and hiring managers to understand current and future demand and gain knowledge of the business operations
Ensure that all recruitment practices adhere to relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards
Commitment to providing an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience through professional and efficient communication
Qualifications
Requirements:
3+ years of technical recruitment experience
Strong sourcing skills to find passive candidates
Business acumen and thorough understanding of technical roles
Familiarity with HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Workday)
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge, understanding and adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws related to recruiting
