Description
We're looking for a Salesforce Admin Consultant to help execute specific enhancements and optimizations in our Salesforce environment. This is a project-based role, not a day-to-day admin position. You'll be engaged to deliver scoped improvements in collaboration with teams across Sales, Finance, Operations, Field Service, and IT.
Recent and upcoming work includes enhancements to quoting workflows (e.g., lease-to-own, rental, and CapEx scenarios), fixing bugs in opportunity naming, supporting the inclusion of service agreements based on lease terms, and implementing logic around financing fees.
We are looking for a Salesforce expert who can own the end-to-end delivery of these scoped tasks, understand business logic behind pricing models, and ensure the platform reflects real-world sales constructs cleanly and accurately.
Contract Details
Initial engagement is for 20 hours; continuation of contract beyond this period will be assessed based on project needs and performance
Rate: $100-120/hr
Engagement is milestone-based and enhancement-driven
Flexible, remote work environment with async communication (Clear Labs is headquartered in San Carlos, California)
Project scope and deliverables will be defined collaboratively before start of each task
Time commitment will vary based on active projects (est. 5 - 15 hours/week during active phases)
Duties and Responsibilities
Implement and document enhancements to Salesforce quoting workflows (CapEx, lease-to-own, rental)

Work with stakeholders to translate Excel-based pricing models into scalable quoting processes
Configure or customize fields, flows, record types, and quote templates to support variable deal structures
Maintain alignment with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Ops, IT) on expected outcomes
Support enhancements to Salesforce to better serve both internal sales processes and field service operations, ensuring functionality aligns with organizational needs
Recommend sustainable admin-level solutions without introducing tech debt
Requirements
3+ years of Salesforce administration or consulting experience
Deep familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud and quote configuration logic
Experience building out pricing, leasing, or financing workflows within Salesforce
Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders to scope and deliver project-based work
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salesforce Admin certification (ADM-201) strongly preferred
Excellent communication; able to work independently and asynchronously
Bonus Skills
Experience with Salesforce CPQ or custom quoting tools
Ability to interpret and implement logic from complex Excel pricing models
Prior exposure to healthcare, laboratory, or B2B enterprise sales environments
Experience supporting Salesforce use cases for field service teams, including scheduling, service case workflows, or mobile technician support
