Full-Stack Java Engineer with Security Clearance

HRUCKUS is seeking a Full-Stack Java Engineer with a TS/SCI Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) to support high-impact, mission-focused programs in Northern Virginia. This is an entirely onsite position in Herndon, Reston, and Chantilly, VA. Position Description: Join a fast-paced mission team developing full-stack solutions integrating advanced data processing, analytics, and user interfaces. This role involves building microservices, APIs, and front-end applications that support analysts, operators, and mission stakeholders. You'll work in a secure, cloud-based environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, DevOps, and UX professionals. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based back-end services

Build and enhance responsive front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks

Create and consume RESTful APIs, write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions Required Skills: Proficiency in Java (8 or higher), Spring Boot, REST APIs

Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)

Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript

Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools

Experience in secure or mission environments Desired Skills: CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
