Job Title: Shipping Associate
Job Description
As a Shipping Associate, you will ensure the accurate verification of parts, lots, and quantities against pick lists. You will select the appropriate packaging methods and label parts according to customer requirements. Additionally, you will efficiently pack customer orders and utilize customer-specific portals to manage shipping documentation.
Responsibilities
Verify part, lot, and quantity picked matches pick list.
Select appropriate packaging method and label parts per customer requirements.
Pack customer orders quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
Use customer-specific portals to upload documents and create shipping notices or bills of lading.
Process shipments through various carriers including UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Utilize the company ERP system for data entry and item/warehouse management.
Communicate daily with sales and purchasing departments regarding order/package issues, delays, or damages.
Create shipping notices and receive incoming parts, verifying quantities and lots.
Perform inventory cycle counts and close out documents accurately.
Follow all AS9100, AS9120, and ISO9001 standards, along with WISHA and OSHA regulations.
Adhere to all company rules and policies.Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
Proficiency in inventory counting and stock management.
Computer proficiency.
Assembly skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 70 pounds, and rarely lift or move up to 100 pounds.
Capability to frequently stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel.
Occasional requirement to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Strong vision and hearing abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment where the noise level is usually moderate but can be high at times. Employees should be prepared for physical activity and must adhere to all safety standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Preston, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
